ANALOG SATURATOR — 4-Mode Saturation VST3 for Trance
Warmth. Character. Weight. Four classic colors, one plugin.
ANALOG SATURATOR by OMAR G2 is a 4-mode saturation VST3 plugin designed for trance production. Whether you’re gluing a supersaw, fattening a rolling bass, adding bite to a psy lead or polishing your master bus, ANALOG SATURATOR gives you the four saturation colors that matter most: Tube, Tape, Transformer and Transistor — each with its own character, its own harmonic profile, and its own place in a trance mix.
Built with 4x oversampling, automatic gain compensation, and 48 presets designed specifically for uplifting trance, psytrance, progressive and tech trance, ANALOG SATURATOR sounds analog, feels modern, and fits seamlessly into any trance workflow.

FOUR SATURATION MODELS, FOUR DIFFERENT COLORS
Most saturation plugins give you one flavor and call it a day. ANALOG SATURATOR gives you four — each modeled on the character of a classic analog device, tuned for trance production:
TUBE — Warm Even Harmonics
Modeled after the asymmetric response of a triode valve. Dominant even-order harmonics for a warm, musical, “expensive” sound. Ideal for supersaws, pads, vocals and leads. Adds body without harshness.
TAPE — Soft Compression, Smooth Top
Inspired by reel-to-reel tape saturation. Gradual soft-knee curve, dynamic high-frequency loss with drive, and a gentle head bump at 75 Hz. Ideal for gluing a supersaw stack, smoothing a bright lead, or saturating the master bus.
TRANSFORMER — Thick Low End, Iron Core
Pre-emphasis on low frequencies before saturation, exactly like a transformer core reacting to bass-heavy material. Produces a thick, weighty low end with a natural roll-off at the top. Ideal for kick, sub, 808, and any source that needs weight.
TRANSISTOR — Solid-State Edge
Harder knee, dominant odd-order harmonics, and a subtle asymmetry for a more vintage, less “clinical” character. Ideal for psy leads, acid basslines, plucks, percussion and FX.
WHY ANALOG SATURATOR?
Most saturation tools on the market are either one-trick ponies or complex emulations that sound great only on specific sources. ANALOG SATURATOR was designed around a different idea: four distinct colors, each tuned for trance, all in one plugin.
- Four saturation models — Tube, Tape, Transformer and Transistor, each with its own harmonic profile and tonal character.
- 4x oversampling (switchable 2x / 4x / 8x) — virtually eliminates aliasing even with extreme drive settings.
- Automatic gain compensation — increasing Drive doesn’t change perceived loudness. No more blind A/B confusion.
- Tilt EQ (TONE) — a musical ±8 dB tilt centered at 700 Hz to shape the post-saturation balance.
- MIX control — parallel saturation without extra routing.
- 48 trance presets — organized by sub-genre and instrument: supersaws, rolling bass, psy leads, pads, kicks, snares, claps, hats, vocals, master bus.
- Full automation — every parameter is automatable and recalled with your DAW project.
KEY FEATURES
4 Saturation Models
Tube, Tape, Transformer and Transistor — each with its own character and harmonic profile. Click a card, hear the difference instantly.
Switchable Oversampling (2x / 4x / 8x)
Choose the balance between CPU and audio quality. 4x is the default sweet spot; 8x for critical mastering work; 2x for CPU-limited sessions.
Automatic Gain Compensation
Every mode includes a lookup-based compensation curve that keeps perceived loudness stable across the entire Drive range. Turn the knob without reaching for the output.
TONE — Tilt EQ (±8 dB @ 700 Hz)
A musical tilt EQ to shape the balance between lows and highs after saturation. Positive values brighten, negative values add weight. No filter artifacts, no phase issues.
DRIVE, OUTPUT and MIX
Drive from 0 to 30 dB. Output from −12 to +12 dB. MIX for parallel saturation from 0 to 100%. All parameters smoothed to avoid zipper noise.
48 Trance Presets
Organized by sub-genre and instrument: Uplifting, Psytrance, Progressive, Tech Trance, plus Drums, Vocals and Master presets. Each preset is calibrated for real trance production.
Real-Time IN/OUT Meters
dB-scaled input and output meters with smooth decay. See exactly how much level you’re adding at a glance.
Automation & Project Recall
All parameters are automatable and saved with your DAW project. No workflow surprises when reopening a session.
DESIGNED FOR TRANCE PRODUCERS
ANALOG SATURATOR is not a general-purpose saturation plugin with a trance preset slapped on top. Every design decision — the four models, the TONE range, the preset selection — was made with trance production in mind.
Use it on:
- Supersaws and leads — Tube or Tape for warmth and glue without harshness.
- Rolling basslines — Tape for harmonics that translate on any system.
- Psy bass and acid lines — Transistor for edge and presence.
- Kick and sub — Transformer for weight without muddying the mix.
- Pads and atmospheres — Tube or Tape at low drive for subtle warmth.
- Master bus — Tape at very low drive for gentle glue and polish.
- Vocals and FX — Tube for body, Transistor for character.
Whether you’re producing uplifting trance, psytrance, progressive trance or tech trance, ANALOG SATURATOR gives you the analog character your mixes have been missing.
OMAR G2 — Peak-Time Emotional Energy. Classic Trance, Recharged.
